Everyone says they are thankful for friends and family, but those are very general terms. Friends? Isn't that a Facebook box you just check? No, if you are lucky, very lucky, friends old and new will come out on a rainy night and support you. Some of them are even family, while still being friends. And your "real family?" Well that's a whole other blog post. I am lucky to have so many people who meet both definitions. A book signing that went well due to friends, family and good luck. What more could one need? Oh and make sure to hit up Cafe Avellino for drinks and dinner!
